About M.E. myself and I

My photo

I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

I think you can say that Switzerland couldn't cope with the pressure coming into this one after going 0-5 down after two ends while they had the hammer.

Gold: Germany
Silver: Switzerland
Bronze: Sweden

Here are how things looked in the real tournament

Gold: Germany
Silver: Switzerland
Bronze: Denmark

This is not your usual knockout round, but hopefully things will become clear as I finish up.

Switzerland's amazing last end sees them straight through to the Gold medal game, while Germany are not done yet as they will play Sweden in the Bronze medal game; the winner of which has a shot at least a silver to their name. After going unbeaten through the first seven games, we say good bye to Russia.

To determine the final round-robin places, I counted up the Last Stone First End (LFSE) for them, with the higher total taking the higher spot. In real life teams throw a stone before each match; whoever is closest to the middle gets the LSFE. The totals of these pre-match stones are added together, with the best getting the better league places.

In a three-way tiefor two spots, the top LFSE Challenge team would be thorough, and the other two would compete for the final place

Thanks to Xtra Large Cheltonian for the information.
