About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1900/01 (S9), Game 1: South Australia vs Victoria

South Australia 10/11 vs Victoria 10/14

Adelaide Oval -

10th, 12th - 14th November 1900

Lineups:
South Australia - FT Hack, EH Leak, C Hill, G Giffen, JC Reedman, WP Stuart, AH Pellew, JGF Matthews, E Jones, AH Jarvis, JPF Travers

Victoria - J Worral, PA McAlister, H Graham, SA McMichael, JH Stuckey, FJ Laver, WW Armstrong, CE McLeod, CH Ross, JV Saunders, FB Collins

First Innings-
It was the saving grace of WP Stuart that pushed South Australia to near 300 as many around him fell quite cheaply to consistent bowling.

SA 293
WP Stuart 105
FB Collins 3-51; JV Saunders 3-74; CE McLeod 3-90

The reply from Victoria was surprisingly weak, and lacked anyone really stepping up and taken hold of the game. Their innings crashed to an end with two poor decisions that led to the final two wickets claimed viz run out.

SA 293
VIC 255
CH Ross 69*
E Jones 4-29

Second Innings
With a lead of thirty-eight runs, it was a great chance for South Australia to really put pressure on Victoria and take an important win to start the season. A devastating set of overs however saw then crash from 94-3 to 94-8 and put the advantage firmly back in Victoria's favour.

SA 293 + 172
VIC 255
E Jones 43
FJ Laver 4-35; JV Saunders 3-53

After losing their first wicket before registering double figures on the board, Victoria looked to be in cruise control to take the win.

SA 293 + 172

VIC 255 + 211-4
H Graham 95; J Worrall 73
JPF Travers 2-44

Victoria wins by six wickets
