About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1903/04 (S12), Game 5: New South Wales vs Victoria

New South Wales 18/13 vs Victoria 10/13
Sydney Cricket Ground
25th-27th January 1904

Lineups:
New South Wales- RA Duff, VT Trumper, AJY Hopkins, MA Noble, SE Gregory, CW Gregory, JRM Mackay, JJ Kelly, A Cotter, AJ Bowden, A McBeath

Victoria- PA McAlister, W Bruce, GHS Trott, WW Armstrong, JH Stuckey, FJ Laver, CE McLeod, JF Giller, HJ Fry, JE Monfires, JV Saunders

First Innings
The pitch was a bowlers dream throughout this contest, and this was quickly in evidence when Victoria could not reach tea on the first day before losing their final wicket. After an early wicket, Victoria were not looking too bad, but the loss of W Bruce at 125-5 was a real turning point.

VIC 153
W Bruce 59
AJ Bowden 4-45; A McBeath 3-38

A real stunning turn of events were still to come as New South Wales collapsed from 132-4 to 142 all out; five of the final wickets coming without another run put up on the scoreboard.Victoria has every chance of taking a win and stopping the unbeaten run of New South Wales

VIC 153
NSW 142
VT Trumper 48
GHS Trott 3-39; JF Giller 3-57

Second Innings
Victoria were able to improve upon their previous days' batting, but the bowlers still ruled, taken the away side down to 142-9 from 142-5. A final wicket stand held on, but could it be enough against the batting of New South Wales?

VIC 153 + 174
NSW 142
PA McAlister 44
AJ Bowden 4-48; A McBeath 3-68

A sudden change in fortunes left the bowlers scratching their heads as they were only able to claim wickets at almost lengthy intervals, especially after the torrent of scalps taken up to this point. New South Wales limp to another unbeaten season, and are the kings of the Sheffield Shield once more.

VIC 153 + 174
NSW 142 + 186-4
VT Trumper 62; MA Noble 50*
GHS Trott 2-53

New South Wales win by six wickets
