About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

DICE Golf Demo

Yes, another game from gen1400, and again it's a fun one.

As with DICE Boxing each individual has their own card. With DICE Golf you get all golfers from the 2008 season, but it is possible to make cards for golfers from other years yourself. Two d10s are rolled for each golfer, on each hole, to see hoe they do on their putting, tee, and fairway shots. They may end up in light or heavy rough, a bunker, or even lose the ball altogether. On a tricky lie the dice roll becomes tougher to make the next shot.

There were two courses with the demo: Kapalua and Turnberry. There are many courses in the full game, and, again, you can use other real world courses and bring them into the game. You can play these courses straight, or you can use the difficulty modifiers for the golfers. On Turnberry for example, each golfer has a -9 on a lot of his/her shots. Not surprisingly, this is fourth toughest course in the game.

I split up the sixteen golfers provided with the demo into two groups: lower and higher ranked. The higher ranked men went to Turnberry, while the rest took on Kapalua. The latter is one I will be sharing here. I played it without modifiers.
