About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1910/11 (S19), Game 3: New South Wales vs South Australia

New South Wales vs South Australia
Sydney Cricket Ground
2nd-3rd, 5th-8th December 1910

Lineups:
New South Wales- VT Trumper, W Bardsley, FK Gow, HL Collins, H Cranney, C Kelleway, BJ Folkard, A Cotter, SH Emery, JD Scott, CR Gorry

South Australia- ER Mayne, CE Dolling, C Hill, DRA Gehrs, S Hill, WA Hewer, WL Chamberlain, LR Hill, CR Moyle, WJ Whitty, AW Wright

First Innings
A good performance from South Australia saw them close in on 500 with all three Hill brothers putting up good scores, but they were stopped just shy.

SA 489
ER Mayne 100; S Hill 92; DRA Gehrs 78; C Hill 62; LR Hill 56
SH Emery 4-131; C Kelleway 3-117

A fantastic partnership of 264 opened the New South Wales reply, with a third wicket partnership of 246 continuing the good work. The hosts eventually decided to call it quits before tea on day four. The bowlers must have been thankful! They did manage to take a pair of batsmen for ducks (FK Gow, H Cranney) but those would have been some tired arms.

SA 489
NSW 738-7 dec.
W Bardsley 264; HL Collins 170; VT Trumper 119; A Cotter 67*; SH Emery 54*; C Kelleway 53
AW Wright 3-201

Second Innings
South Australia put in another good effort thanks to the partnership of S Hill and WA Hewer notching up 181 while many others quickly fell by the wayside. They had a chance if their bowlers had anything left to give.

SA 489 + 479
NSW 738-7 dec.
WA Hewer 147; S Hill 145; CE Dolling 67
C Kelleway 5-127

After setting the new high-score in the previous innings, W Bardsley was an early victim as New South Wales otherwise cruised through to their game-winning total for a thoroughly convincing match with the bat.

SA 489 + 479
NSW 738-7 dec. + 231-2
FK Gow 102*; VT Trumper 66; HL Collins 52*
WJ Whitty 2-60

New South Wales win by eight wickets.
