About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

First Innings
With the world rebuilding after The War to End All Wars, South Australia returned to the Sheffield Shield with a bowling attack that would also need a lot of work. They had hoped to make the most of a slightly bowling friendly pitch but were hammered throughout the first days of action. The openers were both gone by tea on day one, but enter debutant J Bogle to break a pair of records; one personal and one for the team. He and AF Kippax almost touched a 200 run partnership before AT Ratcliffe was the man to take Bogle to 322 not out between them.

NSW 714-4 dec.
J Bogle 304*; AT Ratcliffe 129*; AF Kippax 94; W Bardsley 82; H Carter 69
FR Lucas 2-193; WJ Whitty 2-202

Another player making his debut also excelled in his first Shield innings, this time for South Australia. VY Richardson survived as his teammates crumbled with one exception. Outside of these two, only a pair of batsmen reached double-figures, the highest of which was 15. A follow on was quickly called by NSW.

NSW 714-4 dec.
SA 264
VY Richardson 136*; DM Steele 82
C Kelleway 5-69; HRC Norman 3-62

Second Innings
After taking his fifth five-for of his career in the first innings, C Kelleway was again leading the charge for New South Wales and took a second bunch of wickets to earn him his first ten wicket haul in the Sheffield Shield. VY Richardson was not able to withstand that kind of bowling for a second time, but he and fellow opener DE Pritchard put together a fine partnership. PD Rundell was only able to add a run on top of his earlier duck, and VP Selth put in a good unbeaten display for 40* despite the losing battle he was facing,

NSW 714-4 dec.
SA 264 + 225
DE Pritchard 49; VY Richardson 44
C Kelleway 6-52; WF Ives 2-51

New South Wales win by an innings and two-hundred-and-twenty-five runs
