About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1920/21 (S24) Game 2: Victoria vs South Australia

Victoria vs South Australia
Melbourne CG
26th-27th, 29th November-1st December

Lineups:
Victoria- ER Mayne, RL Park, AW Lampard, J Ryder, WW Armstrong, VS Ransford, FA Baring, CB Willis, AE Liddicut, JL Ellis, EA McDonald

South Australia- CE Pellew, VY Richardson, PD Rundell, AJ Richardson, DM Steele, DE Pritchard, LV Pellew, HHM Bridgman, CL Winser, HM Fisher, AW Wright

First Innings
The return fixture between the teams started better for South Australia who were put in to bat first. No fewer than five half-centuries helped the cause, finishing less than 75 runs from their match total last time out.J Ryder was able to find purchase on the wicket, but it was hard work for Victoria to get through the order.

SA 459
PD Rundell 84; HHM Bridgman 79; DM Steele 74; LV Pellew 72; DE Pritchard 51
J Ryder 4-96; WW Armstrong 2-89

The real problem for South Australia remained with the bowlers as Victoria took their previous match performance and added to it in a big way. The first two wickets would not fall until 171 and 333 runs were on the board as it was almost a free swinging mentality from start to finish.

SA 459
VIC 813-7 dec.
ER Mayne 194; VS Ransford 175*; WW Armstrong 123
AJ Richardson 4-202; AW Wright 2-220

Second Innings
CE Pellew obviously discovered what Victoria had been drinking as he blasted away; a far cry from his single run result in the first inning. DE Pritchard was the only batsman to pass the half-century mark for a second time in the match, but the team still managed to force their opponents to bat again, if only for a token amount.

SA 459 + 379
VIC 813-7 dec.
CE Pellew 153; DE Pritchard 83
AW Lampard 3-78; WW Armstrong 3-83

The opening partnership survived without incident for a comfortable win.

SA 459 + 379
VIC 813-7 dec. + 26-0
ER Mayne 14*; RL Park 12*
AJ Richardson 0-10; AW Wright 0-16

Victoria win by ten wickets.
