About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1921/22 (S25) Game 3: Victoria vs South Australia

Victoria vs South Australia
Melbourne Cricket Ground
31st December 1921 - 1st, 3rd-5th January 1922

Lineups:
Victoria- RL Park, J Ryder, CB Willis, AW Lampard, VS Ransford, HCA Sandford, AE Liddicut, WW Armstrong, AEV Hartkopf, JL Ellis, EA McDonald

South Australia- VY Richardson, A Smith, PD Rundell, RJB Townsend, AJ Richardson, LV Pellew, DE Pritchard, EA Loveridge, NL Williams, WJ Whitty, AM Ambler

First Innings
RL Park stole the show, batting for the fifth highest innings total in the Sheffield Shield. His fellow opener was trapped lbw and VS Ransford was caught at mid-wicket; both for ducks. CB Willis (42) and a pair of half-centuries helped to carry the load.

VIC 550
RL Park 259; AW Lampard 87; AE Liddicut 62
EA Loveridge 3-39; AJ Richadrson 3-187

South Australia also were hammered at the crease with a pair of 30+ scores and a resilient partnership for the ninth wicket to show for their work. AE Liddicut led the way for the bowling attack; the two remarkable catches by the man at short leg claiming both PD Rundell and AJ Richardson for 0. A follw-on was quickly issued, and the pitch was degrading fast.

VIC 550
SA 180
VY Richardson 37; LV Pellew 31
AE Liddicut 5-62; WW Armstrong 2-32

Second Innings
PD Rundell walked off with a pair of ducks and, with A Smith also out for no score, South Australia were 0-2. RJB Townsend then pulled up his socks and went all out, beating his previous best score by 77 runs. His support came from VY Richardson and EA Loveridge, but, including the aforementioned ducks, the remaining batting lineup accounted for 57 runs; 32 were scored by AJ Richardson. It was enough to force Victoria to bat again, and they kep AE Liddicut completely at bay.

VIC 550
SA 180 + 385
RJB Townsend 200; VY Richardson 63; EA Loveridge 58
J Ryder 3-51; EA McDonald 3-89

J Ryder barely avoided his pair as he was caught at deep mid wicket for a single run, but that was all the excitement left in the game.

VIC 550 + 16-1
SA 180 + 385
RL Park 11*; CB Willis 3*
AJ Richardson 1-4; NL Williams 0-11

Victoria win by nine wickets.
