About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CW 1924/25 (S28) Game 4: South Australia vs New South Wales

South Australia vs New South Wales
Adelaide Oval
9th-10th, 12th-13th January 1925

Lineups-
South Australia- JW Rymill, EGC Wainwright, JT Murray, DE Pritchard, PD Rundell, VY Richardson, LT Gun, CV Grimmett, TW Wall, AM Ambler, GH Palmer

New South Wales- AT Ratcliffe, LW Gwynne, JG Morgan, TJE Andrews, AF Kippax, ATE Punch, OE Nothling, ADA Mayes, JD Scott, CV Morrissey, JA Randell

First Innings
South Australia were looking in decent form midway through the second session as four different bowlers took the first four batsmen for between 31 and 39 runs each. The best way for New South Wales to stop the consistent rot was to put together a lasting partnership and with AF Kippax and ATE Punch they more than made it happen with a fifth wicket score of 425.

NSW 706-5
AF Kippax 312*; ATE Punch 185; OE Nothling 62*
CV Grimmett 2-214; JT Murray 1-106

After receiving such a shelling it was unsurprising to see South Australia swept aside in sixty-four overs. CV Morrissey claimed the first wicket, EGC Wainwright for 5 lbw, but JD Scott was not leading the attack for nothing as he took four wickets, two of which (LT Gun & CV Grimmett) were back-to-back ducks. Only JW Rymill put in a good account of himself before leaving with an injury, with DE Pritchard almost making his own half-century.

NSW 706-5
SA 202
JW Rymill 60; DE Pritchard 48
JD Scott 4-61; JA Randell 3-36

Second Innings
With JW Rymill not able to rejoin the match until the second wicket had fallen, JT Murray was opening and was soon gone lbw for 17 at the hands of JA Randell. EGC Wainwright and DE Pritchard then formed a good partnership of almost 150; the latter batsman staying in until the team passed 300. VY Richardson (61) was there at 400, but the tail was crushed and South Australia end their season with an innings defeat.

NSW 706-5
SA 202 + 410
DE Pritchard 137; EGC Wainwright 92
JD Scott 4-116; CV Morrissey 2-73

New South Wales win by an innings and ninty-four runs.
