About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

CDR: 2009 Eliminations #2-4 - O'Reilly Super Start Batteries NHRA Fall Nationals

ENNIS, Texas - SUMMIT FastNews - Results of eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 24th annual O'Reilly Super Start Batteries NHRA Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec:

W/L # L Driver Car R/T E.T. Speed
W 8 R Bob TASCA III Mustang 0.102 4.171 290.3
L 1 L Mike SMITH Monte Carlo 0.109 11.069 46.5

A tenth semifinal beckons for Bob Tasca III after his easy win over Mike Smith and his troubled car leaving him 0-4 in quarterfinals this year.

W/L # L Driver Car R/T E.T. Speed
W 5 R Bob GILBERTSON Stratus 0.124 4.019 309.8
L 13 L Tim WILKERSON Mustang 0.084 5.913 248.8

Two in a row over Tim Wilkerson, who had a terrible getaway, puts Gilbertson 2-2 against him on the year and on the verge of his second final appearance in three events.

W/L # L Driver Car R/T E.T. Speed
W 7 R Tony PEDREGON Impala 0.102 5.303 279.0
L 15 L Jim HEAD Solara 0.120 5.504 275.5

It's a third consecutive semifinal for Tony Pedregon but both drivers did not look on song in this race. Jim Head had the poorer start but he quickly overtook a sluggish Pedregon before the championship leader edged it at the end.

W/L # L Driver Car R/T E.T. Speed
W 3 L Del WORSHAM Solara 0.057 4.033 296.5
L 6 R Ron CAPPS Charger 0.060 4.420 291.5

A second meeting in 2009, and second in three events, is a reversal of the debut result pushing Del Worsham into his fifth semifinal. Ron Capps was almost even for much of the way but was unable to make up the gap that slowly built. He is 5-4 in the past five events.

SEMIFINALS

W/L # L Driver Car R/T E.T. Speed
W 8 L Bob TASCA III Mustang 0.089 4.033 305.3
L 5 R Bob GILBERTSON Stratus 0.101 4.616 294.0

W/L # L Driver Car R/T E.T. Speed
W 3 L Del WORSHAM Solara 0.099 4.209 302.8
L 7 R Tony PEDREGON Impala 0.064 4.275 285.0

Tony Pedregon has also seen a lot of both Matt Hagan and Del Worsham, racing them six times each, and he enjoys a winning or tying record over everyone except his lone race against Jack Backman, and his 2-4 record against Worsham. This is the fourth straight semifinal that Pedregon has lost, and a second consecutive final for Del Worsham.

L 3 L Del WORSHAM Solara 0.087 4.133 298.8

Bob Tasca III has no real problem with Worsham, now 3-0 against him, and more importantly 2-4 in all final races to close the gap again on Tony Pedregon.
