Jeff Arend is still the fastest driver in Memphis, but Matt Hagan has been bumped down to fourth; Robert Hight and Ron Capps were the two fastest of the second run and both move into the top three. Mike Neff also loses two spots, this time it's Ashley Force-Hood and Tony Pedregon who are now in sixth and seventh with Del Worsham, John Force and Bob Gilbertson rounding out the top ten.
Bob Tasca III has lost no less than five places and is now in the ever precarious sixteenth position, but that is still better than John Smith, Daniel Wilkerson and Bob Bode who all drop out of the qualification places. Finally, there were another eight non-finishers, five of which have yet to put in any kind of time with half of the qualification phase to go.
