About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Basho Fury - 1981 Haru, Makuuchi Day Five

Thursday March 12th 1981
Osaka, Osaka Municipal Gymnasium

Kaiki is the only competitor today to lose his first contest, defeat coming at the hand of Kitanoumi who is one of eight men still unbeaten one-third of the way through the Haru. There was a surprising amount of time before Chiyonofuji finally put away his opponent of the day, Wakashimazu who was just not able to pull off the upset but he was close.

There is also some  more retirement news to report. Masuiyama has decided to put a stop to his career, a short time after becoming one half of the first Father-Son ozeki (the second highest attainable rank). He plans on moving into coaching. And finally some more injuries. Tamakiyama and Arase both fell down awkwardly and were grimacing as the post-match rituals were conducted. They are both able to return to competition.
