Philadelphia lose for the fourth time in six games, Binkley earning his second shutout of the year for the Penguins who had goals from Bathgate (6) and Schinkel (4) to end their three game skid. Cameron (2) gave the Blues a 1-0 lead 4:18 in but St Louis suffer their first defeat in five games as Chicago roar back with Martin (7) scoring twice, R Hull (7) enjoying a three point night, and D Jarrett (1) scoring the game winner.
Toronto are still in a slump with just one point in their last five games despite Walton (13) giving the Maple Leafs the lead 3:24 in on the powerplay. F Mahovlich (4) joined his teammate on a multi-point match but two goals each from Lonsberry (2) and Hodge (8) puts Boston on top of the league with a sixth consecutive victory.
