About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Player of the Game Hockey - NHL 1967/68, Dec 16th

Saturday 16th December 1967
Boston have been shorthanded over one-hundred times now (101) but it was a shorthanded goal from L MacDonald (11) that helped the LA Kings to victory. Campbell (6) scored twice for the Kings with Robinson (5), B Smith (8) and R Lemieux's (3) game winner keeping them ahead of the Bruins who have just three wins in nine; Bucyk (16) hada three point night for them.

Another team that marks their century in shorthanded situations are the Montreal Canadians, but powerplay goals from G Jarrett (16) and Bergman (6), Young picking up two assists, is not enough for Detroit to avoid their poor run continuing to three wins in their last eleven. The Habs are 7-2-2 recently thanks to Duff (9), Lamaire (10), T Harris (6) and a game winner from H Richard (8)

Connolly (17) got on the scoresheet twice including scoring the game winner to give Minnesota a fifth win in six, putting them on top of the West. Collins (5) and Boudrias (11) helped put Oakland down at bottom of the division; Brenneman (7) and a two point night from Hicke (12) the Seals' only joy.

Pittsburgh snap a three game losing skid with Bathgate (11) the first Penguin to hit double figures and both his goals came in the second period to give his side the 2-1 lead after Chicago's Mohns (8) opened the scoring on the powerplay. Boivin (2) then scored what would be the game winner on a penalty shot with C Maki's (3) goal counting for little and Dea (6) insuring the win with an empty netter.

St Louis close in on the Flyers by extending their unbeaten run to three games. Ecclestone (2) and Schock (2) grabbed goals on the man advantage, Melnyk (7) enjoyed a three point night and R Stewart (4) and Berenson (6) scored the game winner and empty netter respectively. Hoekstra (6), Lacroix (1) and LaForge (3) scored for Philadelphia

The final game featured two teams heading in opposite directions. The Rangers had one win in six with three losses in a row coming into Toronto while the Leafs had one loss in six with a three game win streak. The fortunes of both sides would remain the same with Fleming (7) scoring the only goal for New York while Keon (5), L Hillman (2), Pulford (6), Stanley (4) and Walton (19) give the home side their first four game winning run of the year, placing them joint top of the East division.
