About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Player of the Game Hockey - NHL 1967/68, Feb 3rd

Saturday 3rd February 1968
Hadfield (11) and Kurtenbach (7) scored for the Rangers but are now five games without a win as Boston answer with five goals of their own, Esposito (21) turning the game around either side of the first intermission with two goals; Williams (18) scored the game winner on the powerplay with Krake (7) and Hodge (23) insuring the Bruins' first three game win streak in thirty-four games.

Detroit take their fourth win in five through G Jarrett (25), Howe (28), K Douglas (5) and Henderson (11) while Minnesota avoid the shutout with 1:32 left to play thanks to Connelly (33) for the North Stars' second loss in three games.

The LA Kings kept the status quo through two periods but have just one victory in six games after Montreal, who have won twenty-six of twenty home games and are unbeaten in their last five, exploded for four goals in the final period. Duff (15) scored unassisted after 46:43 in the game with Beliveau (12), Savard (2) and Cournoyer (25) also scoring. Worsley earns his seventh shutout of the season in his fourteenth win.

After a scoreless first frame Philadelphia jumped out to a 3-0 second period lead, Blackburn (6) unassisted, Sutherland (18) on the powerplay, and Angotti (10) with his third game winner the goalscorers, but Chicago pulled it back to within one through Mikita (28) and Wharram (17) who had a two point night. Gauthier (4) made sure the Flyers would win their third straight and give the Blackhawks back-to-back losses for the first time in seventeen matches.

A late comeback from the Penguins nearly cost Toronto their first win in three games as the Maple Leafs find themselves one point behind the Canadiens and Bruins with a game in hand over the latter. Ingarfield (8) opened up the game's scoring in the first period but Oliver (11), Keon (11), Ellis (17) and M Pronovost (6) all became part of the reply with only Keon not enjoying a two point night. Andrea (4) pulled one back for Pittsburgh thirty-two seconds into the third period, and McDonald (10) brought them within one less than five minutes later, but it wasn't enough to avoid their third loss in four games.

St Louis' lead at the top of the West is down to two points over the Flyers as they drop a third result in five thanks to the visiting Seals taking a 3-1 win. Keenan (11) put the Blues ahead but despite their thirty-five shots on goal that would be the only time they would beat G Smith in his net. Szura (1) tied the game in the middle frame for just his second point of the season, and Ehman (12) scored the game winning goal on the man-advantage with Boyer's (8) third period effort an insurance marker to give Oakland their first win in seven.
