About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Player of the Game Hockey - NHL 1967/68, Jan 28th

Sunday 28th January 1968
Pittsburgh's two game winning run comes to a close at the wrong end of a shutout in Boston where the Bruins return to second place in the East due to Montreal playing the Maple Leafs tomorrow. Sanderson (10), McKenzie (19), Stanfield (17) and Hodge (22) all score to give the home side their first win in four.

The aforementioned Maple Leafs only score once, Armstrong (12) scoring unassisted, to end their win streak at six games. Chicago gain revenge for the 5-0 shutout loss against Toronto on the previous day with Mohns (15) scoring a hat trick and Wharram assisting on all three goals for their first win in four.

Detroit's third three win streak, their first victory in five, comes at the expense of Minnesota's fourth defeat in their last six. The North Stars, having won their last two, had goals from Boudrias (17), Connelly (32), and Balon (6) with Cullen (21) scoring as part of a three-point night. The Red Wings have just one loss in their last five and sit five points ahead of the Blackhawks in fourth place in the East. Ullman's (15) two goals joined with efforts from Howe (26), who with an assist hits fifty points, Delvecchio (14) and the game winning goal by G Jarrett (24 at 15:04 of the third period.

New York have just one win in four after this tie against the Seals, Nevein (17) from Goyette and D Marshall opening up the scoring at 17:43 of the first period. Oakland are winless in five straight but this is their second tie game in the past three matches. Boyer (7), assisted by Burns, tied the game at 11:32 of the second period.

Philadelphia earn their first win in ten games, ending a run of five defeats in a row, to reclaim second place in the west ahead of the North Stars. Sutherland (17) and a shorthanded goal from Dornhoefer (13), his second of the season, made it 2-1 after the first period with Campbell (7) scoring on the powerplay for Los Angeles. The second period saw the Flyers take a commanding 5-2 lead after two periods with Joyal's (15) second powerplay goal for the Kings cancelled out by tallies on the man advantage from Hannigan (15) and two from Rochefort (15), the first of which was the game winning goal. Peters (3) and L MacDonald (15) exchanged goals for the home and away sides respectively in the final period but it's just one win in six for LA.
