About M.E. myself and I

Eastbourne, East Sussex, United Kingdom
I have been an M.E. sufferer for a long time now, but sports replay gaming is an easy hobby for me to enjoy. Originally from Canvey Island, Essex, I was introduced to replay gaming a few years ago, leading to my first purchase: Cricket World. Most sports I share will be common, but there are some more obscure replays thrown in. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to say hello! - Chris

Player of the Game Hockey - NHL 1967/68, Feb 14th

Wednesday 14th February 1968
Boston's two-hundredth goal came at the second half of back-to-back wins as they beat the Blackhawks thanks to a commanding first period where they took a 4-0 lead. Bucyk (30) opened the scoring beofre going on to assist on all three McKenzie (25) goals; Esposito (24) scoring the game-winner in between. Chicago avoided the shutout in the second period when Schmautz (7) scored unassisted.

Hoekstra (13) and Rochefort (16) each had a goal and an assist, the latter scoring his fourth game-winner this year, in the third period as the Philadelphia Flyers, enjoying their first victory in five games, came back from a 2-3 deficit in Oakland. The Seals, who have just two wins in twelve, took their lead into the final frame thanks to goals from R Harris (5) and a pair of powerplay efforts from T Hampson (6), which gave them a 2-0 lead, and then Burns (11) who restored the advantage after Hannigan (17) scored his seventh with the man advantage for the Flyers. Selby (15) pulled another one back in the second period before Dornhoefer took on Oakland's T Pratt in a fight.

It was a quiet trip back to Minnesota as they go a sixth straight game without a win after they were blasted 7-1 by the Penguins; Boudrias (20) scoring the North Stars' only goal fifteen second into the second period to make it 1-3. Pittsburgh took their chances through the two-goal efforts of Konik (14), who had a shorthanded tally, and McDonald (12) who scored on the home team's only powerplay. Ingarfield (9) nabbed the game-winner as part of a three-pointer with Fonteyne (6) and Schinkel (10) rounding out Pittsburgh's third win in six.

The Kings are able to stay one point ahead of the Pens in the battle for the final playoff place in the West, coming from behind to share the points in St Louis. The Blues scored on the powerplay in each of the opening two periods through Melnyk's (16) eighth PP marker and Crisp (11), but the hosts would have only two wins in their last six after a fight between St Louis' J Roberts and LA's White at the opening faceoff of period three turned the game right around. The Kings got their goals from Labossiere (15) and Amadio (5) whose powerplay goal was where Joyal collected his twenty-third assist and fortieth point to help Los Angeles go unbeaten for a season-best four games.

After going on one of their unbeaten runs, the latest ending at seven games, Montreal lose for the second time in three matches as only Laperriere (8) was able to beat Bower in the Toronto goal. The Maple Leafs jumped out to a 2-0 lead either side of the first intermission where, after Pulford (9) had opened the scoring, F Mahovlich (22) scored his fourth game-winning goal on the night he hit forty points when he added a later assist. Oliver (13) and Walton (28) secured the Leafs' fourth win in six to go just one point behind the Canadiens in the standings.
